Faith Formation

FAITH FORMATION…
flows from our baptism where we begin 
"Walking Wet" 
and meeting life's challenges and joys 
as followers of Jesus.

Many of us grew up in an age of Sunday school and youth group. Such Christian education led to our confirmation as a rite of passage. Many view confirmation as graduation from the church rather than a threshold to a more mature relationship with God.

Question: "How do you get bats out of the church tower?"
Answer: "Confirm them and you'll never see them again!"

Faith formation is a life-long journey of growth that delves into the never-ending depths of the mystery of God. It's about teaching, not telling. It involves doubt and never-ending questions that help us to discover and discern God's will as we navigate life's transitions.
